Welcome to Coastal Women's Forum. CWF (Coastal Women's Forum) is an organization that provides women with business and professional networking opportunities. With monthly meetings offering dinner or lunch venues, we can accommodate busy schedules. Dinner and lunchprograms offer a variety of speakers on local and regional interests. We promote self-development through our programs, presentations and discussions on business related topics.
Mission Statement
Coastal Women’s Forum provides an opportunity for business and professional women to meet periodically to enjoy, learn from, and support one another. The group promotes self-development through networking and enhancement of business and professional acumen among women in this community through programs, presentations, discussions on business and related topics, and via personal contacts. Members are career women and women who have been involved in or anticipate a career in business, professional, or public life.

Hertiage Parade
New Bern 300th Jubilee Weekend
Join Coastal Women's Forum members for the 300th Heritage Parade on Saturday,September 18, 10 am - noon. The parade route will be from Lawson Creek Park to Union Point Park. The parade participation is designed to increase awareness of our organization. All CWF members are encouraged to walk the entire route (2.5 miles) but you may leave at any point if necessary. We will have sign up sheets for this event at the next two luncheons and the Sept. dinner to gauge the number of participants.
A lime green shirt and khaki pants, shorts, or skirt are suggested (but not required) to unify the group. To celebrate the 300th, we are currently selling lime green CWF LOGO shirts that can be worn that day depending on weather. Shirts are $25 and are high quality, 3/4 length sleeve, 100% cotton, pull over shirt. Deadline to order shirts is Aug. 31. Orders for shirts will be taken at the August and September meetings. or by contacting Annette Walker at walkera@cravencc.edu or Thea Kincaid @ thea@theasideas.com or by calling 636-2628.

2010 New Bern Women's Expo
CWF will participate in the 2010 New Bern Women's Expo on October 16, 9am-4pm. Two our shifts are requested. CWF member who participate in the Expo may promote their own business as well as CWF. Sign up to participate by calling Pam Burkart at 633-9610 or email pgburkhart@gmail.com.
The North Carolina Governor’s Conference for Women

Coastal Women's Forum is a proud partner of The North Carolina Governor's Conference. The North Carolina Governor’s Conference for Women is a powerful annual convening of more than 1,500 women from across the state for energizing dialogue on a variety of women's issues. Launched in 2006 (then as the North Carolina Conference for Women), this day-long experience includes a mix of dynamic speakers, entertainment, and an interactive expo for networking, information sharing, and education.
Our mission is to provide a platform for women of all ages and backgrounds across North Carolina to network with peers and become informed on timely issues that are of value to today’s women.
