The Ladies of New Bern!
In honor of Women’s History Month, Alma McSorely Gibbons will be our guest speaker offering the history of some of the women who made New Bern what it is today.

Alma is a 5th generation New Bernian and a 7th generation North Carolinian who is delighted to share her passion for history with anyone who will listen (especially through the stories of the women of this area). She is employed at Tryon Palace as a first person character interpreter and gives tours as herself and/or in character throughout the site. For the past several years, Alma has volunteered as the primary script writer for Ghost Walk. She also researches and creates characters who she presents at various groups and organizations throughout eastern North Carolina.
Reminder - Cancellations or any changes to your reservation should be made by the registration deadline or you will be responsible for meal payment.
