Tharesa has served in leadership on over 34 boards across the national, state, and local levels, modeling her philosophy of servant and grassroots leadership. 

Tharesa is the author and content creator of a grassroots leadership academy called A Place at the Table, graduating over 75 persons (City of Fayetteville Choice Neighborhood Initiative Community Ambassadors Training Program, 10 graduates; City of Rock Hill, SC, 17 graduates; Greater Five Points Leadership Academy, 33 graduates: and Leadership Jones, Pollocksville 20 graduates).

I am Debby Lutz, CTA, VTA, of Travel By Debby L, located here in New Bern.

I started my career in travel in 1969 with National Airlines and in 1975 I made a career move to being a Travel Agent with Flying Dutchman Travel in Jacksonville, NC. For the next 32 years as a Travel Agent, I was able to work in every aspect of the Travel Agency business, from helping corporate travelers, serving as a Travel Agent for the Secret Service, planning events for both corporate and leisure companies and helping individuals experience their dream vacations.

In 2007 I created Travel By Debby L, a full-service travel agency that does not charge any service fees and has specialized in individual and group travel. For the last fourteen years I have built a client following from all over the globe. So, whether it is a trip right here in the United States or a trip to the far reaches of the globe I can help you in every aspect of your travel plans.

Meal Cancellation Policy:

The final registration deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting. For both the daytime and evening meetings, if you wish to receive a refund, the final cancellation deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting. 

All cancellation requests and meeting registration questions must be sent to the appropriate coordinator at CWFlunch@gmail.com or CWFdinner@gmail.com. If you have not canceled your registration by the deadline, you will NOT receive a refund or credit.
