Icy Munchel is an award-winning professional with a proven track record in business management, finance accountability and team performance. She is a Certified Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt, Human Researcher, and Master Resiliency Trainer where she plays a lead role in the success of an organization by helping to set direction and shape its future goals.  

Icy grew up in a military family on the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis Maryland, where she developed a passion to support service members and their families.  She also developed a love for computers and hot rods at this time, and is the secretary to New Bern’s First Capitol Antique Automobile Club of America.       

For over 15 years, Icy has worked as an area expert and advisor to leadership at Camp Lejeune, and Air Stations New River and Cherry Point. She volunteers with the US Chamber of Commerce as the lead for their Military Spouse Professional Network, and as an Amplify Program virtual instructor. Previously she was a Foreign Service Officer for the State Department at post in west Africa and southeast Asia.

Icy brings experience across diverse domains, such as aviation, operation strategies, manufacturing, block chain, automotive and parts sales, property leasing, facilities maintenance, environmental recycling, community development, cultural awareness, prevention education, behavioral health, and hospitality.

Currently, Icy is bringing these skills to small businesses.  She will be talking about Lean 6 Sigma basic and how to identify waste in business.
