Thank You to Our Evening Meeting Sponsor
Leigh Wilkinson
Leigh Wilkinson is a Charter member of CWF, who served as the second President and numerous years on the Board after having been a part of the original Steering Committee that organized our women's networking organization and hosted the initial kickoff meeting of CWF in 1988. For the past 40 years she has been practicing law at Ward and Smith, P.A. primarily in the area of healthcare law; however, she is happy to report that she will be retiring on March 31, 2025, and looks forward to continuing her CWF involvement as a retiree. Leigh currently serves as the President-Elect of Tryon Civitan Club, of which she's been a member for 31 years. Tryon Civitan Club is holding its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on April 26 at the River Bend Golf & Country Club and Leigh invites all CWF members to come out and enjoy a fun golf outing and/or to sponsor the event (sponsorship levels range from $100 to $2,500). All proceeds of the tournament are used by Tryon Civitan Club for service projects for or direct monetary donations to over 30 local charities. Leigh is happy to be the dessert sponsor for our March meeting as the concept of dessert sponsors was an idea she suggested when she served on the Board in the advisory role!
